BIK BOK PRESENTS FALL/WINTER 2016

Influenced by punk and sport Bik Bok kicks off the fall season at the end of July. Filling stores with patent skirts, mohair knits, checked shirts, chunky hardware details and bandeau tops. The play between masculine and femininity creates trendy silhouettes, and although the collection is not heavily retro – elements from the 80´s and 90´s are present throughout the whole season.

“The styles are well known classics done in a new and modern way. We have key pieces like the long bomber, the oversized men shirt, the blazer and long coats, lingerie dresses, the hoodie and bum bag. Styled together with layering and that “slouchy/thrown on-look” for the right feel” - Solveig Elton Jacobsen, Senior Designer at Bik Bok.

The color palette for fall/winter 2016 consists of base tones such as black, white and grey combined with dark blue, mustard yellow and popping red.

Later in the season, by September, the Bik Bok stores fills up with fur jackets, dark florals, lace, heavy wool checks and velvet. The knits in store play a big part for this seasons silhouettes and the range of styles is wide. Showing shoulders, long sleeves, open cuffs, tying and knotting is key when styling knits this fall. Matching knit sets on scarf and beanies to emphasis the look will be available in store, along with knitted pants and skirts. Towards Christmas the focus will turn even more to the 80´s look that was very well represented at the International runways for this season.

Fall season begins and will be available in Bik Bok stores and online starting week 29.
